Brooklyn, NY (ContentDesk) June 21, 2006 -- Fair Hemp (WWW.FAIRHEMP.COM), the Sustainable and Sweatshop-Free clothing manufacturer that has used organic cotton exclusively since their first t-shirt, was excited to hear that Levis is preparing to introduce denim made from organic cotton.
Fair Hemp's line of t-shirts are a great compliment to any new pair of organic jeans.
Constructed from 55% organically grown hemp and 45% certified organic cotton, the tees are pre-washed to prevent shrinkage and for a comfortable wear.
The t-shirt styles and fits are distinctly modern with details such as lycra in the neck, tagless collar and a comfortable cut.
Moreover, the tees are dyed with eco-friendly reactive dyes and finished with a natural enzyme (non-gmo of course) for optimum comfort.
Ideal for embroidery, screen printing, or as a basic paired with your favorite organic jeans, the latest line of tees are available in eco-white, black, navy blue, red, coffee, olive, pale pink and eggplant.Hemp clothing offers a comfortable, far more durable and sustainable alternative to the traditional cotton t-shirt.
Just switching to 5 men's hemp/organic cotton t-shirts saves approximately 1 pound of agricultural chemicals and over 600 gallons of fresh water compared to what goes into a 100% cotton t-shirt.
Additional benefits of Hemp include increased ultraviolet protection and anti-bacterial properties (hemps fiber structure makes it difficult for bacteria to grow on it).Ideal for the denim fan who does not desire to sacrifice style in favor of responsible consumerism, the Fair Hemp t-shirts are available starting at $12.95 and can be found at select retailers in the US (on Ebay too).
Wholesale is available to retailers, embroiderers and screenprinters. Most Fair Hemp products are currently manufactured in China (due to laws prohibiting domestic hemp) under fair trade manufacturing principles.
For more information on Fair Hemps line of eco products and their straightforward policy of No Sweatshops, No Pesticides, No Problem, check out the website at http://www.fairhemp.com.About Fair Hemp: Fair Hemp began as the brainchild of Alicia DeVito and her brother Alex.
Since starting in 2003, the company has remained committed to sustainable fabrics and the ideal that eco-friendly fashion design should appeal to a broad audience, rather than a specific niche.
Fair Hemp offers basics for both men and women, baseball caps in both adult and childrens sizes and athletic wristbands among other private label options.
All of Fair Hemps products are perfect for customization, either through a local embroidery or screen printing shop, or through one of their partners in the U.S..

How to Start a Debt Reduction Plan
Copyright 2006 Stephen Ashton
Whether you simply want to pay off your mortgage or car loan sooner, or you've run up a huge pile of credit card debt, starting a debt reduction plan is always a good idea.
Follow these five steps to setting up your own debt reduction plan:
1. Find out where your money is really going. You can't cut your expenses if you don't understand where you're spending your money in the first place.
Pull out all of your receipts, credit card bills, and bank statements for the last 3 ? 6 months.
Make a list of everything you spend money on, by breaking things down into categories (food, entertainment, clothing, travel, bills, interest, taxes, etc.).
Then figure out what percentage of your income is going towards each group of expenses.
While you can't change certain expenses, you can change most of them.
Decide what general areas you can cut expenses in, and which areas you should be spending...
The Dress Code, Handled with Emotional Intelligence
It strikes terror in the heart of some of us, while others ignore it completely. Some of us are relieved there is one; others of us resent it. The Dress Code: Does it affect your career, affect whether you're hired or not, affect how you're treated on the job? Definitely. How do you ?manage' this particular area of your life? It requires emotional intelligence ? some awareness, creativity, flexibility and intuition, and a whole lot of common sense. For instance, in former years I applied for a job at a major international law firm.
At the interview, we were handed one sheet of instructions. The second item they chose to put on this piece of paper was, "Since you have chosen to work in a conservative work environment..."It went on to outline their strict dress code. Two of us were hired. The other one later complained to me about the dress code there. I maintain - she knew when she signed up, she agreed to it, she had no leg to stand on.
If you like to work out certain...

School is in Session--Tips From Consolidated Credit Make Costs Less Burdensome Now and Throughout the Year
(ContentDesk) August 24, 2005 -- To avoid your budget being blown throughout the year, prepare a checklist of needed items and establish a budget each time before you go shopping. "A budget enables parents to set a good financial example for children.
It's an excellent opportunity to teach young people about the importance of paying attention to prices, controlling spending and knowing the difference between needs and wants", says Howard Dvorkin, founder of Consolidated Credit Counseling Services, Inc. Shopping advice: 1) Let kids pay for some items with their own money. If your fashion-conscious son or daughter wants a pair of pricey designer jeans, for example, you might offer to pay up to the cost of a less expensive non-brand pair and let him or her pay the difference.
2) Consider teaming-up with another family and buy
items needed in bulk quantities.
By shopping at warehouse discount stores, two or even three families can divide purchases

Your Weight Loss Problem: How-To Cure It By Watching Movies Or Reading Books!
I don't know anything about you but if you're anything like me then you struggle with a weight loss problem. Your weight loss problem consists of you struggling to keep your weight down or struggling to make your weight go down. Most people who see me wouldn't believe that I have a weight loss problem, but I do. I've battled bulimia and constant gains and losses in weight, of ten pounds each time. Thats what I call a big weight loss problem.A lot of women and men with the same or a similar weight loss problem would sympathize with me I'm sure.
I want to look good (who doesn't?) so that always motivates me to go on a diet. But after sticking to a diet for a week and dropping the unwanted weight my love for good tasting food overpowers my need to feel attractive and the weight piles back on pound by pound. There is always exercise to help with a weight loss problem, I remind myself as I lie lazily on the couch chomping down on one of my non-diet treats. "Sure!" I groan "I don't...
